Our Monthly Trainee Seminars aim to provide our trainees with a social and collaborative platform to carry out various team-building activities in an informal setting. These events are not only restricted to trainees but are open to the entire program membership. The events are mainly inspired by our Trainee Committee. An evening initiated by Dr. Lisa Starr, postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Daniel Dufort's lab. Lisa taught the group how to successful write a winning grant application and teams of two we then required to compete using hilarious scenarios as main subjects for their imaginary projects needed to be funded
